CURRICULUM SUPPORT WORKER

FIXED TERM (TEMPORARY) TO SUPPORT INDIVIDUAL CHILD

Sunningdale is an ‘outstanding’ special school for pupils aged 2-11 with severe, profound and multiple learning difficulties and complex needs.

 

The Governing Body of Sunningdale School is seeking to appoint a committed, dynamic experienced Curriculum Support Worker (CSW) with the essential skill base to undertake the designated roles and responsibilities at this level. The role will be to support an individual pupil with specific medical and physical needs.

 

The successful candidate will be required to work alongside the class teacher within a staff team to support:
• Small steps of learning.
• Personal, social and medical needs.
• Individual behaviour needs.

 

Applicants should be qualified to NVQ level 3 and preferably have experience of working with children with severe and profound learning difficulties and have shown a commitment to continual professional development (CPD).
