Book Week 2013
Class 2 have been sharing our favourite books this week.
We went to the City Library to choose our favourite books. We loved hearing our favourite stories read to us.
We went on a Bear Hunt on the Sensory Trail. Over the scrunchy, crunchy pebbles - Over the clip, clop bridge - Through the swishy branches and into the dark, dark, wood.
Deep in the woods, we found the bear's house. He roared so loudly when we woke him up that we all ran away!
We went back to the bear's house later to make him a poster of our Bear Hunt adventure.
Autumn Term 1 2012
It's a new year and Class 2 are excited to be back in school, showing everyone that we love to learn!
This half term, Class 2 have been learning all about ourselves. We told our friends all about our families and brought in photographs to make Autumn Family Trees, so everyone could see who lives in our house.
We also learned about our bodies. There are many different body parts, so we took part in lots of fun activities to help us to remember them all.
Making models, drawing pictures, opening our own doctor's surgery, drawing around ourselves to make life-size paintings... We even baked gingerbread men and pizza faces!
