School To School Support

 

Teaching Schools can support school improvement by providing bespoke support and sharing expertise with other schools in areas of identified ‘need’.


This could be to improve the quality of teaching and learning, focusing on the School Development Plan or other priorities. Sunningdale School has particular expertise in supporting Special Needs Schools and providing mainstream schools with advice about how they might meet the needs of the children within their care who have special educational needs. This might include interventions to address issues such as communication, behaviour, curriculum development and measuring progress.
 

Specialist Leaders of Education (SLE’s) and National Leaders of Education (NLE’s) will provide some of this support.
